Mother’s Day Special

Since I became a mama 2 years ago, and even more so since I become I mother of 2, 4-months ago, I have become very passionate about helping other moms invest in themselves. Being a mother is the most rewarding, amazing, challenging, thankless, selfless, important job on the planet. We’re literaly training and raising the next generation of humanity! In the hustle and bustle of this mom life, usually we forget the fact that if we’re sucked dry, completely drained, overwhelmingly exhausted, lack confidence, down on ourselves, unhealthy, and unfulfilled…well, our entire family suffers. It’s so easy to take the martyr role and tell ourselves, “This is what I signed up for, my kids need to always come first no matter what the cost”. We find some sort of twisted satisfaction of being run ragged all the time. Why do we do that? Sometimes we’re weirdos, us mothers…it could be the delusional state we’re in from not sleeping through the night…ever. 🙂

SO…that’s where I come in. Most of you know I’m a Registered Nurse. I paid over $100k (ya I know…) and went to school for 4 years to get that RN after my name. I did it because I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. I wanted to be there for them when life got rough, I wanted to help them heal, grieve, prevent illness, treat illness and injury, that was my driving force. Since I graduated in 2009, my perspective and knowledge in the area of health has drastically shifted. Now…I want to be the nurse for other nurses who are killing themselves due to stress and poor lifestyle choices. I want to be the nurse for moms, busy entreprenuers, and individuals who are walking down a dangerous path to significant health problems. There’s SO MUCH we can do to help you feel amazing and prevent SO MANY life-altering diseases!
